Invisalign uses clear, custom-made aligner trays to straighten crooked or crowded teeth in teens and adults. The trays are nearly invisible and come out only for eating, brushing and flossing, so you can straighten your teeth without traditional braces.
Invisalign has no brackets or wires, so you do not need to avoid foods that could damage braces. Most patients switch to a new tray about every two weeks, with no frequent wire tightening.
If you have crooked or crowded teeth that bother you or affect your oral health, you may be. A consultation can confirm.
You wear the aligners nearly all the time, removing them for about two hours a day. Most patients see results within one to two years, with occasional progress checks.
You will wear a retainer daily to keep your smile in place, and keep up with checkups and cleanings twice a year.
