Tooth Extractions in Leander, TX
Tooth extractions are routine procedures for removing decayed, damaged or problematic teeth. We try to save natural teeth, but extraction is sometimes necessary. A removed tooth can be replaced with an implant or another prosthetic.

Did You Know?
The most common reason for extraction is severe decay, followed by impacted wisdom teeth, advanced gum disease and cracked teeth. Regular checkups and cleanings can prevent some of these cases.

What aftercare is needed?
Keep the site clean, avoid certain foods, finish any prescribed antibiotics, and avoid smoking or using straws, which can lead to dry socket.
